MCALLEN, TX – A McAllen woman was reportedly injured after her vehicle was struck by a suspected drunk driver last Wednesday evening.
The accident occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. within the 2300 block of North Taylor road near the intersection with East 28th Street.
Police believe the 33-year-old male driver of a 2010 Chevrolet was intoxicated when he attempted to pass a 1997 Toyota and collided with it head-on.
The man responsible for the crash was unhurt, while the 66-year-old woman in the Toyota sustained minor injuries.
