Woman injured in Brownsville distracted driving crash

BROWNSVILLE, TX – A woman was reportedly injured as the result of a suspected distracted driving collision in Brownsville last week.

The accident occurred on May 26th at about 8:56 a.m. within the 900 block of Robindale Road, near the intersection with Rey Jaime Street.

Responding officers believe the drive rof a 2009 Pontiac, a 28-year-old woman, was inattentinve to the roadway when her vehicle rear-ended a 2008 Volvo at a high rate of speed.

The woman responsible for the crash sustienad unkown injuires as a result. No other injuires were reported.
