Woman injured in single-vehicle Cameron crash

CAMERON COUNTY, TX – Authorities in Cameron have reported one injury as the result of a single-vehicle collision along I-69E last Saturday morning.

The collision was reported shortly before 9:40 a.m. along the interstate near Sherer Road when the 39-year-old male driver of a 2019 Ford was traveling at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle collided with a fixed object along the roadway leaving the 40-year-old passenger with a non-incapacitating injury.

No other injuries were reported as an immediate result of the crash.
