Woman injured in T-bone collision on N. Sugar Rd. in Pharr

PHARR, TX – At least one person was injured as the result of a T-bone collision near a busy intersection in Pharr last week.

The accident happened on March 23rd just before 9 p.m. within the 1900 block of North Sugar Road at the intersection with West Ferguson Road.

Officers believe the 21-year-0ld man behind the wheel of a 2007 Dodge failed to yield the right of way to a 2014 Nissan and collided head-on with the Nissan’s passenger side door.

The man in the at-fault vehicle was not injured. However, the 48-year-old woman in the Nissan sustained unknown injuries in the crash.
