Woman injured in two-vehicle crash in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Police in Corpus Christi have reported at least one injury resulting from a head-on collision on Cimarron Boulevard early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred within the 3300 block of Cimarron Blvd. near the intersection with Brockhampton Street shortly before 1 a.m.

Investigators say the 34-year-old male driver of a 2015 Ford ran through a red light at the intersection and collided with a 2014 Ford. The driver of the 2014 Ford, a 31-year-old female, sustained an injury that was deemed non-incapacitating by officials at the scene.
