Woman killed in three-vehicle collision on Saturday

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman was killed in a three-vehicle collision at Martin Luther King Drive and S Walters at about 5:30 p.m Saturday afternoon.

According to KSAT, 27-year old Destiny Rodriguez was in one of two smaller vehicles that were hit by a Hummer.

Her family said that the mother of four was delivering pizza for Pizza Hut at the time of the crash.

The female driver of the other small vehicle was injured in the crash and taken to the hospital. She is expected to recover.

The two individuals in the Hummer fled the scene before officials arrived. However, police quickly located and arrested them.

One was identified as Lionel Martinez, 39. He has been accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol as well as other charges.

The other occupant of the Hummer was not identified but is also reported to be facing charges.
