SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman was struck and killed while parked on the shoulder of US-90 due to a flat tire Saturday night.
According to the San Antonio Express-News, the accident occurred at about 11:40 p.m. near the exit to General Hudnell Drive.
Police say the driver of a pickup truck was unable to see the woman in time to make an evasive maneuver and struck her while she was standing outside of her vehicle. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The identities of those involved are being withheld pending further investigation.
