CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — An early morning collision on shut down parts of Leon Street in Corpus Christi on Thursday. According to the authorities, the accident occurred at around 3:00 a.m. on Leon Street near Gollihar Road. Police believe that the driver was speeding when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed. The driver could not provide a driver’s license to the police at the time of the accident. It is unclear if alcohol played a factor in the crash. It is reported that the driver was injured in the crash, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
