CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — A two-vehicle accident was reported near a Stripes market in Corpus Christi on Monday. The accident took place near the intersection of Holly Drive and Highway 357 just before 9:00 in the evening, according to police. Eyewitnesses say that the driver of a black Nissan pulled out of the parking lot of a Stripes on Highway 357 without looking for oncoming traffic. The Nissan collided with a white Ford truck, causing severe damage to both vehicles. Both drivers were evaluated for injuries at the scene.
