Wide turn causes collision on Abrahamson Drive

BROWNSVILLE, TX – A Cadillac and a GMC collided on Sunday morning when the Cadillac’s driver turned onto Abrahamson Drive.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Donna Drive and Abrahamson Drive at approximately 9:51 on May 10. The Brownsville Police Department reports that a 26-year-old woman driving a black 2013 Cadillac made a wide right turn. This turn caused her vehicle to hit a 27-year-old man driving a silver 2012 GMC.

The Cadillac’s left-front bumper crashed into the left-back bumper on the GMC. The collision caused significant damage to both vehicles. However, the cars were able to drive away from the scene after the accident.

The police report that neither driver was injured in the accident. A 27-year-old woman riding in the GMC’s passenger seat was also unharmed by the collision.

Officers have determined that the Cadillac was at fault in the accident because the driver made an unsafe turn.
