Speeding accident injures four on Texas 358

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A speeding Toyota crashed into a Mazda on Tuesday morning, injuring four.

A black 2015 Toyota was speeding while driving on Texas 358 near Weber Road, according to an officer from the Corpus Christi Police Department. The 47-year-old male driver crashed into a black 2005 Mazda and caused rear-end damage to the vehicle.

The police report that both vehicles sustained minimal damage in the crash.

Despite minimal property damage, the crash injured four people. The 37-year-old Mazda driver and three passengers—ages 21, 22, and 43—were all injured in the accident. The police have not released information about the type or severity of these injuries.

The driver of the Toyota that caused the accident did not sustain any injuries.

Officers determined that the Toyota was at fault in the accident, and the driver has been charged with failure to control speed.
