Driver ejected, killed in rollover crash on I-10

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT, a driver was killed after being ejected from a vehicle in a fiery wreck early Friday.

Police say the crash occurred on I-10, between La Cantera Boulevard and Camp Bullis Road around 3:30 a.m.

Authorities say a white Mercedes SUV was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-10 when they collided with a concrete divider. The SUV then drove westbound until it crashed into another concrete divider, at which point the vehicle flipped and crashed, catching fire.

Police say the driver was ejected from the SUV during the crash. Emergency crew workers attempted to resuscitate the driver, but they were pronounced dead at the scene.

The name and age of the deceased has not yet been released.
