Truck driver injured following high-speed crash in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety reported a single injury resulting from an auto vs. semi collision in Corpus Christi on Saturday, February 12th.

The accident was reported shortly before 6:30 a.m. along SH-35 just east of the Dome Motel and RV Park.

Troopers say the 49-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2007 Freightliner was speeding when the truck collided head-on with an unspecified vehicle.

The man responsible sustained minor injuries in Saturday’s Corpus Christi trucking accident. The other driver involved left the scene before authorities arrived.
