Trucker injured in collision between two semis

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver was injured when one semi truck rear-ended a second semi truck in the northbound lanes of Interstate 37 early this morning, KSAT reports.

The incident occurred at about 1:15 a.m. between Mathis and Hardy Roads, when the first semi truck crashed into the back of the semi truck in front of it. The force of the collision ripped off the trailer’s door, spreading debris and cabbages across the roadway.

One of the drivers was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries determined to be non-life-threatening. The other driver was unhurt.

Investigations are ongoing.
