Woman injured in multi-vehicle crash involving semi in SW San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman was critically injured in a collision involving a semi truck in southwest San Antonio on Saturday afternoon, KSAT reports.

The victim, described as a woman in her 40’s or 50’s, had been driving westbound on I-35 near Zarzamora Street when she lost control of her vehicle and struck the rear end of a semi truck. Her vehicle then entered the access road, where she collided with another vehicle.

Emergency responders transported the woman to University Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.

While no other life-threatening injuries were reported, we do not know if anyone else was hurt in the collision. We will provide updates if possible.
