SAN ANTONIO, TX — Early in the morning on Wednesday a woman was crossing Nagadoches Road when a pickup truck hit her, killing her.
According to KSAT the woman was getting breakfast before going to her place of work across the street. It was still dark outside and she did not cross near any crosswalk. A man driving a pickup truck did not see her in the darkness and hit her, killing her.
Police say skid marks point to the fact that the driver had attempted to brake. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was fully cooperative with police.
An investigation is still underway into the cause of the crash. Our thoughts are with the woman’s loved ones at this time.
