SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man drove his SUV eastbound on the westbound side of Highway 90 and collided head-on with another vehicle. According to KSAT, the accident occurred near Nogalitos Street at 1:53 a.m. on April 19.
The SUV’s driver and a passenger had to be removed from the vehicle using the jaws of life. Both people were transported to University Hospital for medical treatment. Police report that the injured driver and passenger are currently in stable condition.
Police tested the driver who caused the crash for alcohol or drugs. The San Antonio police department has not yet released any information about whether those tests came back positive, or if the driver has been charged with a DWI.
