2 Pedestrians Seriously Injured in Corpus Christi Collision

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Two people were seriously hurt after being struck by an inattentive driver at a busy Corpus Christi intersection last week.

The March 4th crash occurred at about 9:30 p.m. within the 5200 block of South Staples Street just north of the intersection with Williams Drive.

Responding officers believe the two pedestrians, ages 64 and 59, were hit by a 2006 Honda that failed to yield the right of way at the intersection. Both suffered serious injuries as a result.

The driver of the Honda, a 19-year-old man was unhurt. It is unclear if he will face any charges in connection to Thursday’s Corpus Christi pedestrian accident.
