On the evening of September 1, 2025, a fire broke out at one of Herrman & Herrman’s buildings located at 1240 3rd Street in Corpus Christi, Texas. Thanks to the swift response of the Corpus Christi Fire Department, the fire was contained, and investigators have already begun piecing together what happened.
Although this unexpected event has impacted our marketing operations and office space, we are grateful to share that no one was injured, no client case files were lost, and Herrman & Herrman remains fully operational.
What We Know So Far
Shortly after the fire was reported, firefighters arrived at the scene and began working to extinguish the flames. The fire department brought in an arson investigator as part of the standard procedure for commercial building fires. After a thorough preliminary assessment, investigators do not believe this was a case of arson.
Instead, the evidence currently points to an electrical fire. While additional investigation is still underway to confirm the exact sequence of events, this early determination provides some relief and clarity about the origin of the blaze.
Damage to the Building
The building located at 1240 3rd Street primarily served as our marketing and administrative hub. Inside, our marketing team worked on creative projects, campaign planning, and storage of marketing materials. Fortunately, all of our client case files—both physical and digital—are stored securely at other Herrman & Herrman facilities. No client information or records were lost in the fire.
From an external standpoint, the EFIS (brick-like stucco exterior) of the building appears to have held up well under the strain of the fire. However, the interior suffered significant smoke, fire, and water damage. Based on initial assessments, the building will likely need to be gutted and rebuilt internally to restore it to a safe and functional space for our team.

As a result, some upcoming marketing events and outreach efforts may experience delays or adjustments while we work to replace what was lost.
Despite this, our dedication to supporting the community remains as strong as ever. We are already sourcing replacement materials and coordinating with partners to minimize disruption. While the timeline for certain events may shift, our long-term commitment to community engagement is unchanged.
